IRONMAN SURVEY
The Humbie, East and West Saltoun Community Council recently undertook a survey regarding the Ironman event and its impact on the local area. Many thanks to everyone who participated in the survey.
Please see attached a summary as well as the full report of the results which have been submitted to our East Lothian Ward Councillors and to East Lothian Council’s Chief Executive and other Officers.

SECRETARY WANTED
Following the retiral of our Secretary, the Community Council is seeking to recruit a new Secretary. The Community Council normally meets ten times a year (August to June) at 7.30 pm on the first Wednesday of each month. Additional meetings may be held throughout the year depending on circumstances. Meetings rotate around the three principal communities of Bolton, East Saltoun and Humbie.
The Secretary is required to attend all meetings, prepare Agendas/Minutes for approval by the Chair, circulate papers to councillors, conduct correspondence as required etc. The Secretary does not need to reside within the Community Council Area. A small gratuity will be paid per meeting.
